My Passport to India is an exciting 5-week program brought to you by Mission India and Pacific Southwest District School Ministries. Participants will explore the nation of India and how God is transforming lives through the efforts of local believers through a series of online videos and related educational content.
My Passport to India is being offered as part of the final phase of your school’s Hearts for Jesus campaign. Registration is free and there is no cost or obligation to participate in the program.
When you register your classroom for this exciting program, you will receive a special passport and suitcase bank for each student. During the project, your students will be encouraged to collect loose change in their suitcase banks for Children’s Bible Clubs in India. Each $1 raised will enroll another Indian boy or girl in a Children’s Bible Club!
Beginning March 15, 2011, the first in the series of 10 videos will be released at www.mypassporttoindia.org. The videos are 4-6 minutes long, and are accessible to all age levels. You will receive an email at the beginning of each week, linking you to the newly released videos. Once a video is released, you can watch it at anytime.
Along with the videos, the website includes related educational material that you can adapt for use in your classroom. The material includes photos, devotionals, information about India, and resources you can send home to engage your students’ families in what they are learning.
You can choose to use/adapt the bonus educational content in a way that works best for your students' age levels and your classroom schedule. This bonus content will also be available online for you to access at anytime.
