Chris says Hosea 2:23 is the Bible verse that resonates with him about India: "'I will say to those called 'Not my people,' 'You are my people'; and they will say, 'You are my God.'"
"Until recent history, the people of India didn't know the Lord - they were not His people - but now they are the people of God! I am excited to tell the story of the love God has for India and how He is making them His people."
As a dad, Chris is thrilled to be helping families discover God's heart for the children of India.
"God thinks globally and eternally. His love for people goes far outside the borders of our own home, our school, our families, and our country. I tell my daughter that people knowing Jesus is the most important thing in the world."
Chris says God used his experience in India to open his eyes and heart to the people of India in amazing ways.
"Going to India and seeing how God is working there has impacted my life forever. I was able to meet people whose stories and testimonies have honestly changed my life."
"No one had a bigger impact on me than a man named Guna. You'll have to wait until episode 8 to meet him! He is such an incredible example of what happens when you dedicate your life to Christ and seek to visibly impact the Kingdom of God. If Guna can do it, I can do it."
If Chris could bring home one idea from his journey across India to introduce in the U.S., what would it be?
"The amazing hospitality. From people sharing what little food they had to their smiling faces, that's what I think we need more of here."
